Foreigner friendly restaurant with delicious pasta. We were recommended a local wine to pair with our seafood linguine and bolognese. Thank you to the sweet waitress that gave us travel tips. Lots of love from Australia ????????

If you want to escape 1 evening from the Japanese cuisine this is a solid choice to do so! Modern interior but a little bit boring. Italian music on the background. The food was very delicious and welll seasoned! Not overdone. We took first some appetizers and for the main dish a salad and pasta. The staff was very friendly. The wine was also very good. Ordering via an iPad and English language is available.

Solid Italian food. Menu is fully available in English. You can order via a Tablet. No real atmoosphere as the restaurant does not look like an Italian. However, considering this is a small island we were very happy to find that place. It‘s possible to reserve a table via website or whatsapp. Make sure to reserve! Card payment is possible. This restaurant offers vegetarian and vegan options.

I have not finished eating yet but I have to write this review. The olive-beef Bolognese is some of the best Bolognese I have ever had. The lady who served us was so kind and helpful, and offered plenty of advice about travelling in naoshima. I wish we were in Naoshima for one more night so I could eat here again.

There wasn’t anything on the menu vegan but I asked and they were able to make a very yummy tomato pasta :)) The lighting was a bit bright for dinner in my opinion.

Loved this place! Wonderful fusion of local flavors, seafood and homemade pasta. I originally wanted more Japanese food, but was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the dishes and selection of food there. I enjoyed the various types of pasta even more than anything homemade in Italy because it had more “al dente” bite/texture, probably due to some mixing of ramen noodle techniques. The combination of local flavors, and a good wine, beer and beverage menu that includes local artisan/craft specialties makes it a wonderful place for both comfort food and experiencing a creative fusion of flavors and textures. The welcoming atmosphere and really nice staff also made it a repeat visit while traveling in Naoshima.
